From the early 2000s, Ofmeco consolidated its position as a leading supplier in Italian power generation market. It expanded its activities from petrochemicals to hydrocarbons, throught state-of-the-art construction technologies and engineering dedicated to new products.
The last two decades have seen Ofmeco's internationalization, in designing and supplying critical process equipment and engineering new applications in renewable energies and low-carbon emission technologies.
What We Do
Engineering Activities
- Thermal and Mechanical calculation;
- Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Structural calculation;
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA);
- Technical specification dedicated to raw-materials procurement;
- Technical specification for special processes (welding - heat treatment - insulation-refractory and external finishing).
Project Development and Management
- Overall scheduling (GANTT): engineering - procurement - fabbrication - testing - shipping;
- Detailed manufacturing phases;
- Issuance of Quality Plan (PDQ) and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP);
- Coordination activities and expediting with external suppliers;
- Integration of new suppliers and their qualification.
Equipments fabrication: Workshop and Yard
Ofmeco is distinguished by its highly efficient structure, entirely dedicated to the construction of pressure vessels for new thermoelectric power stations being built in Italy, as well as to the modernisation of existing ones.
After-Sales and On-Site Assistence
- Technical support for Plant/End-Users operators;
- Assistance during equipment Start-up and Commissioning;
- Dedicated procedures for equipment maintenance;
